The men and woman of the armed forces are the reason that you are free to attend these events this weekend. It sounds corny but it really is true. Back to the Revolutionary War, the brave men and woman in our military and the ones who have been there aiding them, have made it possible for us to go to sleep at night free. Freedom is a funny thing, you don’t realize how much it means until you no longer have it. We are all spoiled because we have never known anything but freedom in our time. Someone needs to be thanked for that, for sure. In light of recent events throughout the world, I think we can all agree we owe an enormous debit of gratitude to the men and woman of the armed forces. So, www.eventcrazy.com has 1000’s of events that commemorate their sacrifices and give us a chance to honor them in some small way. Take some time this weekend to say thanks at one of these events and remember why we have a 3 day weekend. It isn’t about having a barbecue or going to the beach or pool. It’s about why we can do anything at all that we want to do, and who we have to thank for it.
